Overview:

Where to even start with this game. It’s a turn based strategy game in which you “control” a person to try to create a fiefdom. This is one of those games which would GREATLY benefit from the instruction booklet or a strategy guide. From the very beginning I was lost.

Why not?

Visuals:

There is a lot of information going on on every screen. There really aren’t any stages or action things going on as everything is static in nature. You do have some nice little busts of people popping up every now and then but, besides those, everything is just either text or a map.

Soak it all in…

Audio:

I really liked the music in this game. It was very relaxing and jaunty. It didn’t hit the usual stereotypical tropes most media does when it’s set in China, so that was nice. The music does change every month so that’s even better. You’re not listening to the same droning tune for however long people played this game.

About the extent of the game.

Completion:

This game was just too much for me. You can tell this is one of those deep games which you need to spend hours playing just to get anything to happen. It wasn’t my jam but kudos to you if it is.
