Overview:

Your created character must traverse the Dungeon’s and Dragon’s world to try to get a mindflayer parasite removed from their head. Along the way you meet a smorgasbord of characters to help you on your quest. Also, all of them have the same tadpole fucking with them. You will defeat thieves, goblins, zombies, sexy vampires, gods, etc. as you try to find a cure! You’ll also probably fuck everything that moves. I know I did. BTW, this is a choose you own adventure with branching dialog trees so be careful what you say or do as there could be dire consequences.

Visuals:

I bought a whole new computer for this game and it was worth it. The visuals in this game are astounding with what it’s trying to convey. Every zone you enter looks different from the next as well as letting you know what type of biome you’re in. The characters are also highly detailed. All of them are so unique compared to each other you can tell the developers really put their heart and souls into them. Even the create-a-character you make looks like something purposefully made for the situation.

Audio:

Like the character design, their voice actors are amazing. All of them sound so different and have little ticks to their characters I became highly attached to them. Some more than others, but that’s a different story. The world is also rich and alive with just random ambient noises and dialog. The music is top notch as well. Scary levels feel scary. Epic boss battles feel epic. And there is one fight that gives you a background track it totally blows everything away since then.

Completion:

I FINISHED THIS GAME! It took me a while and save scumming but I did it. Am I proud? FUCK YES! I got the ending I wanted and got the closure I needed from my characters. I’m sad the game ended because it was just a good time hanging out with my characters and doing missions with them. In the end, everyone was happy and I had a hell of a time.
