Overview:
A baseball game you can tell was made in Japan with how much zaniness is going on in this game. I’m not saying there is a story, but there are plenty of animatics which are pretty cool and get you going.
Visuals:
The cutscenes of this game are amazing. The characters are rad looking. Other than that it’s a very very basic baseball game. Also, there are rabbits for umpires.
Audio:
Throughout the game you have baseball music playing. When homeruns happen you get a nice cutscene and and everyone cheers. The other noises are the typical noises you would hear. Some pretty shrill whistles tell you when you’re out.
Completion:
While playing as Texas, I DESTROYED Detroit. Though I only played 3 innings I was up 6-0. Anything can happen in baseball but I felt I got enough of the game to give a pretty good assessment. It was a nice little competent baseball game for the NES which there are a ton of them.
