Overview:
Anticipation is a Trivial Pursuit knock off mixed with Pictionary and Monopoly. You move your random object icons around a colored board solving pictures which have a title and connect the dots. While this is going on, a dice is “ticking down” a number and, should you solve the puzzle correctly, the number the dice lands on is how many spaces you move. If you get all the colors on the board, you move to the next level. Huzzah
Visuals:
Not much is really going on here in terms of graphics. You have some faux 3-D effects due to the board being at an isometric angle and a basic HUD to show you what color spaces you have and how many points.
The connect the dots portions are equally simple. You have dots on the screen with a pencil drawing them in in any random order. The objects that are being drawn are very basic so they’re pretty easy to solve.
Audio:
The music in this game isn’t bad but that’s only because it isn’t really annoying nor obtrusive. There are hardly any sound effects to comment on so, yeah.
Completion:
Seeing as I have PRECIOUS time, I limited myself to getting to the “Level 2″ board after collecting all the colors. I didn’t have any problem winning each of the puzzles in terms of competition wise, it was just the drawings are so basic it’s hard to comprehend just WTF they’re drawing. The clues don’t help either with a picture of a [what I can assume] being a baseball bat and ball and…holy shit that was the answer. :C _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. Totally thought it was HIT THE BALL. Bah. Just drives my point.
P.S. Although I shouldn’t do this, I couldn’t help posting the box art:
