This is probably the simplest you can ever take a football game to. Plays are chosen for you what seems at random. This caused me on my first drive to kick a field goal on my second play after a 50 yard break out run. Plays can either be a pitch back or a long pass. Unfortunately passes are frequently intercepted even on the easiest difficulty. Upon intercepting a pass, the player is ruled down regardless if they came into contact with the opposing team. Players run like molasses and the lack of any player names is kind of a bitch. For defense you get to choose between either player A or player B and, depending on who you pick, can be a major difference between a 4 yard loss or a 20 yard run.
It seems no matter how many times I tried to change the play up, even on the goddamned “High School” difficulty level, I ALWAYS fucking got intercepted…many times. Normally this would just cause me to maybe pass it to someone else whom I saw open but NOO!! This game just picks downfield who you throw it to when you press A and pitches it when you press B. It’s a pain in the ass but, as I said, this is a VERY simple game.
